Empower Neurodivergent People to Serve & Thrive in National Security

noun | (nu̇-rä-dī-na-mik)
Combines ‘neuro,’ from the Greek word ‘neuron,’ meaning nerve or strength, with ‘dynamic,’ from the Greek word ‘dunamis,’ representing energy, innovation, and constant progress, to encapsulate the concept of a powerful, ever-evolving system fueled by resilience & forward-thinking energy.
The Problem:
Erosion of Cognitive Diversity in National Security
National security & defense organizations have long benefitted from, and increasingly seek, highly skilled and intellectually creative neurodivergent individuals.
Since 2002, diagnoses of neurodivergent conditions, such as ADHD and autism, in the U.S. have risen by over 400%, driven by increased awareness, expanded diagnostic criteria, and improved access to care.
Far from being limitations, these conditions are increasingly recognized as assets, enabling young adults to thrive in high-pressure, high-performance roles across the national security & defense landscape.
Yet, despite this progress, systematic barriers remain. Restrictive recruitment, inaccessible work environments, persistent stigma, and fragmented management approaches continue to limit the success of neurodivergent talent.
Our goal is to help eliminate these barriers to mission success.

Who We Aim To Serve
Future Members
- We aim to help neurodivergent individuals, who are otherwise eligible to serve, to overcome barriers that may hinder them from pursuing a career in national security & defense.
- Our goal is to serve as an ally, guiding individuals through personal fears and doubts, while promoting transparency of opportunities in military and civil service.
Current Members
- We aim to provide free, accessible resources that help individuals & teams to identify and leverage their organizations’ strengths, empowering their teams to learn, embrace and incorporate neurodiversity.
- Through partnerships with existing providers, our roadmap seeks to deliver programs, tools, and resources directly to seekers, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Military Vets & Federal Service Alumni
- Our vision is to partner with and strengthen the effectiveness of existing Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), and similar associations, to better support former military & national security civil servants.
- We strive to be the neurodiversity one-stop-shop for our partners, helping them improve the quality of their their programs and services by delivering insights from the neurodivergent community.
